I promised ages ago to post up the full images for each of the worlds in Small Worlds, but one thing came after another, and I never quite got around to it. Today, happily, I can rectify this!
So, as promised, here are the full worlds, including the areas that can’t be reached in the game. Obviously, these come with a MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING! If you haven’t played through Small Worlds, (and if not, what are you waiting for? It only takes 15 minutes!) you can play it here.
Anyway, here are the images! (right click on the thumbnails below, and select ‘save link as’ to save them to your computer.)
You can look at them, or use them as desktop wallpapers, or print them out onto card and use them as drinks coasters – whatever you like, really. Hooray!

Nice, thanks!
These are amazing.
Wow, nice pictures, I love pixel-art !
Good work !

Beautiful. I just discovered Small Worlds last night, and enjoyed searching out the hidden spaces. It put a smile on my face.
Any sequel or further worlds? I cant get enough of this game (also really like the music). cheers.
I loved Small Worlds too, but I think the sinister ending kind of makes a sequel impossible.
Perhaps a spiritual sequel.
I love this game! I was actually planning on reviewing it this week, and after seeing the full pics it makes me want to definitely review it, haha.
I love the art, I love the music, and I love the game!
Good looks.
I love your games, and love the art. I just rediscovered this game, and loved it again. I think that the newer games of my time are a little too.. smooth. No one takes to time to appreciate the nice pixelated games anymore. Well, anyways..
Good luck with your games, like “Entanglement” or the game with the mines. Forgive me for any spelling errors.
“Print them out onto card and use them as drinks coasters.”
The sarcasm suits you well, but I can top that:
Now, take the game and put it into the next chapter of Fallout as a not-too-hidden minigame – THAT would probably be the single most cynical thing to do in video game history.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Hello David.
Just posting with the (probably unwelcome) request that you make more Small Worlds.
Needless to say I thought the game was brilliant, but my only criticism was that it was a bit too small a world. Although the short running time made it neatly self-contained, for a game about exploring it would have been nice to have a lot more levels to find your way through. That way it you’d get a real sense of achievement when you finally reached the end (which I quite liked, by the way) rather than what I felt which was “oh, is that all? What a shame, I was really enjoying that.”
Maybe some day in the future that issue will be addressed by a Small Worlds 2. In the meantime, good luck with all your other projects.
